Good location, the owner is trying their best.

Nice location, the entrance by the looks is a bit old, but the room is nice. It has not a big hotel vibe room, the owner is trying to compensate by giving you all the facilities needed and even more.

It was ok, the entrance hall looked a bit shady but it was very good overall.

Very Good

The ladies running the place were really nice and lovely, don't speak English but they were okay with using translation apps (such as Papago). The room was very clean, big bathroom with bathtub, table to eat at, TV, refrigerator, water dispenser, fan and AC. Calm area close to Duryu Park, and easy to get to Apsan mountain by bus. Bus station, metro station, and convenience stores are located nearby. Fair price!

The place looks very old, even if everything works it feels a bit off somehow. The location is good depending on what you want to do in Daegu - it's close to nature but "far" (20 min by bus) from the downtown area where you'd go to enjoy the night life with bars and clubs etc. Mosquitoes get inside in the most mysterious way, one of the nights I spent fighting the little buzzing blood sucking creatures instead of sleeping, which wasn't great...

Wonderful

I really appreciate that the owner tried to talk to me using a translator. Everything was clean and I really like the attentions she made in the room to make guests comfortable from water to ginseng bottle, cream, soap, toothbrush, etc.

For the price, I think the level of accommodation was enough. The reception wasn't really english-speaking, so beware of that. But overall, the place was spacious and bathroom was modern and clean. The AC in the room was not so strong, but fan saved us. No warm water after 2am. But overall really good!

Maybe the weak AC, but that's all.

During my recent stay at a cozy hotel, I was truly amazed by the kindness and helpfulness of the owner, an elderly lady. Despite the language barrier as I didn't know Korean, she went above and beyond to assist me. Using her mobile phone, she diligently translated everything into English, ensuring effective communication. Her willingness to bridge the gap made me feel welcomed and valued. One particular instance left a lasting impression on me. As I was checking out from the hotel, I noticed it was drizzling outside. Without hesitation, the old lady presented me with a beautiful umbrella to shield me from the rain. Astonishingly, she didn't charge me for it, displaying her genuine generosity and concern for my well-being. The hotel room itself was impeccably clean and provided a tranquil atmosphere. Despite the presence of other guests in neighboring rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by the peacefulness and serenity I experienced. It created a perfect environment for relaxation and rejuvenation after a long day of exploring. Overall, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of remarkable. The owner's helpful nature, her adept use of technology to overcome language barriers, and the unexpected gift of an umbrella made my experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming accommodation.

Good location, close to subway and bus station to Haeinsa temple.

No hot water in the morning two out of three days. The hotel location in the Booking.com map is wrong for a few hundred metres. It took a while to find the hotel.

Perfect location and friendly staff

Very friendly welcome, even though I arrived quite late in the evening. Location is perfect: convenience stores, a bus stop and subway station nearby. If you plan on visiting haeinsa temple, you can take the bus on 10min walking distance.

Location was prime.

It was very clean, and the ladies were lovely, even though we don’t speak Korean, we had no issues.

Booking.com issue! The map puts the location as a different hotel. You can use the map as a rough guide, but the actual location is further down the street, across from the pond.

The room is big and spacey and is very near a line 1 station. There is air conditioning and a fan and it is very well equipped with both soap, body wash, shampoo as well as hair gel and hair spray! You are given hair brushes and a dryer which were clean and helpful.

The bed, as cool as it was, was a little uncomfortable. The mattress was so stiff I felt like I slept on the floor.

The neighborhood is a bit noisy at night, but besides that all was okay.

a great experience

It was so clean with antique style design and they provide every stuff you need. The person in charge was so kind and also helped me with keeping my luggage after checkout while I should go out and explore the city until my departure to next destination.

the general heating system was turned off during late night to morning and only electric mat was provided. so the room air got cold and I could not take shower before morning.

Sweet accomodation - NO WiFi

The staff ladies were very welcoming and sweet. The room was very clean + spacious and provides you with a cable TV and AC. The bathroom has a bathtub as well. The location is right at the Eworld theme park + Daegu tower and very easy to reach.

There is NO WiFi throughout the entire hostel. I didn't pay attention when I booked, however, I just stayed for one night so it was alright.
